Te Matariki Clendon Community Centre is a multi-purpose facility offering a range of services to the community. The facility includes a recreation stadium, library, Kauri Kids childcare centre, wharekai, and a variety of spaces available to hire for your next event.
Recreation centre
Te Matariki Clendon Community Centre won the New Zealand Recreation Association Outstanding Facility Award for 2009. Here, you will find a wide variety of sports and recreation programmes. There’s something for everyone with programmes designed for various ages, fitness levels and abilities. In addition to our recreation programmes run each term, we also provide out of school care and structured school holiday programmes.
Kauri Kids Childcare
Clendon Kauri Kids offers quality, affordable care with a focus on learning through fun. Our centre provides a nurturing, stimulating and secure environment where children feel comfortable and will grow, learn and play. »more
Venue hire
Te Matariki Clendon Community Centre and Library has a number of spaces available for your next event. You can hire a room that holds 20 people or a stadium for 300. Our centre is ideal for hosting sporting events, public meetings, private functions or wedding receptions. »more
