More people equals more fun! Group fitness classes are a great way to add variety and fun to your workout. All Manukau Leisure fitness clubs offer their members access to selected group fitness classes free of charge.

Group fitness classes are guaranteed to get you lifting, cycling, dancing, boxing and stretching your way to better health and fitness. With a wide variety of styles and levels of intensity there’s something for everyone.

  • Group Fitness classes are FREE with all full Community Gym memberships (with the exception of Top Ride, Ki Max, Box Fit and Krank classes ).
  • Casual rates and concession cards are available for non-members.

* Ki Max, Top Ride, Box Fit and Krank classes are not included in standard fitness memberships.

Radical Fitness classes

Radical classes cost $8 per class or $64 for 10. With the exception of equipment based classes (Ki Max and Top Ride), Radical Fitness classes are free with all full Community Gym memberships.

Ki Max*

Use the freestanding bag to practise boxing, Muay Thai, cardio and kickboxing. Ki Max gives you the ultimate feeling of adrenaline and excitement. Suitable for all levels of fitness.

Mega Danz

Mega Danz is designed around various dance styles including Latin, salsa, pop, hip hop and jazz. Shake your groove thing and put the fun back into your workout.

Power

A total body conditioning workout that uses dumbbells, barbells and body weight. You’re in control of the intensity. Suitable for all levels of fitness and strength.

Fight Do

The ultimate shadow boxing class, Fight Do combines martial arts and boxing, with great music and movements. Suitable for all levels of fitness.

Oxigeno

Bring another dimension to your fitness regime with this yoga/pilates styled class. Develop flexibility, improve mobility and discover core strength.

Top Ride*

Top Ride is the ultimate cycling class. Take a 45 minute ride with us that will improve your fitness and burn calories.

X55

X55 is simple routines using a step box and hand weights to tone your muscles, burn calories and give your body an extreme workout. 55minutes of Butt Toning, Leg Shaping, Calorie Busting, Torso trimming FUN!

Aqua Aerobics

A fun water based aerobic class designed for all levels and abilities.

Aqua Jogging

A water based jogging class that takes the impact off your joints and allows you to push yourself.

Box Fit*

Boxing aerobics for a moderate to high intensity workout. Incorporates core strengthening exercises. Options to suit all levels.

Hi/Low Impact

An aerobic class designed for all levels and abilities. Burn calories and achieve full body tone. Take the intensity high or keep it low - you decide.

Krank Cycle*

Krank fusion cycle (45 mins) is an electrifying overall cardio and toning workout. The krank cycle focuses on the upper body and the spin cycle works on the lower body.

Krank Core*

Krank fusion core (45 mins) is an electrifying upper body workout fused with dynamic core strengthening exercise.

Pilates

A great low impact workout which conditions your body; helping you become leaner and sleeker. Improves muscle and joint flexibility and helps develop a strong core.

Step

An extreme body workout that uses simple routines on a step box to tone your muscles and burn those calories.

X-trainer/Circuit

Circuit combination of cardio, toning and strengthening exercises to elevating music.

Oxycore

Oxycore focuses on core strength, postural control, stretching and toning for the whole body, balance and coordination. It is choreographed to music and is based on Physiotherapy and Pilates principles. It is a safe,effective and great total body workout.

Zumba

Zumba uses Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a one of a kind Fitness program that will blow you away. It is designed to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.
