Entry level exercise for everybody
What is a Green Prescription?
A Green Prescription (GRx) is a health professional's written advice to a patient to be physically active as part of their health management. The Green Prescription initiative is administered by the Ministry of Health. Taking part in a Green Prescription programme is a cost-effective way to increase activity and stay healthy.
Manukau Leisure has teamed up with Sport Auckland to provide free and low cost physical activity and wellness programmes to Mangere, Manurewa, Otara and Papatoetoe communities. Activities include educational workshops, aqua aerobics, gym workouts, walking, and low impact aerobics.
